Little House in the Village...

Every day is special here at Log Cabin Village. Today, however, was made just a bit MORE special because of the presence of some very special guests. As we've mentioned before, we've been partnering with Performing Arts Fort Worth, Inc. (PAFW) to help promote Little House on the Prairie: The Musical playing from June 8-13 at Bass Performance Hall. We were beyond thrilled when PAFW asked if they could host their cast media day here at the Village.

In fine City of Fort Worth form, we even had Mayor Moncrief on hand to present a certificate and key to the City to Melissa Gilbert (playing "Ma") and other principal cast members, including Steve Blanchard (Pa), Kara Lindsey (Laura), Jessica Herschberg (Mary), and Anastasia Korbal (Carrie).

We were also pleased to host representatives from Trinity Habitat for Humanity, the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, and touring students from Faith Child Development Center.

And, of course, our very own pioneer Village People were present.

Thanks to everyone who made this a truly wonderful morning! Here are a few photos:
